David was a certified Iyengar yoga teacher for over 2 decades. He has been teaching out of his own studio in Halifax since the late 1980's. From his years of practice, teaching, trips to study with the Iyengars' in India and other senior teachers in the Iyengar tradition, David has a wealth of knowledge to help students. |

Carol-Joy Kaill
Carol-Joy has practiced yoga for over 18 years, 10 dedicated to learning the Ashtanga Primary series. She attends gentle, Iyengar and restorative yoga classes, always considering herself a beginner. As a certified yoga teacher she offers introductory yoga for adults of all ages and abilities and Prenatal yoga for women past their first trimester. She has an MSC in adult education and has worked in health promotion as a teacher and manager for over 20 years. |

Nancy discovered yoga eight years ago and has continued her practice in completing the 200 hour certification in Mindfulness Teacher Training. She is passionate about creating safe and welcoming classes, embracing diversity, and believes yoga is inclusive for every body. She teaches students with a focus on compassion, kindness, and curiosity. |
| Catherine Guest Cathy has been teaching inter-disciplinary yoga on the South Shore of Nova Scotia since 2003. Catherine's focus is in the Ashtanga tradition in the lineage of Sri Pattabhi Jois. She continues her learning with many teachers including Hart Lazer. She teaches yoga in her beautiful Sail Loft Studio which is perched on the edge of St. Margaret's Bay. Catherine's special interests include chant (Sanskrit), writing, music, dance, shamanic study and native spirituality.

Through her recent participation in a 200 hour Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training, Tara has discovered mindful movement, expanding her meditation practice to the yoga mat. She’s inspired to help others, through gentle yoga practice, create their own practice of stillness in body and in mind. |

Colleen began teaching dance in 2002 and yoga in 2013. She completed Level 1 Middle Eastern Dance Instructor Training with Hadia in 2009 and a 200 hour Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training at Inner Sun in 2013. |
