Pilates is a true, whole body conditioning program. It employs a variety of stretching, core strength, stability, and balance movements. These movements serve to strengthen the body externally, enhance the body's internal defence and strength while reforming it to be longer and leaner. Pilates serves to reduce and relieve physical and mental stress. It is a very slow, controlled and methodical approach to holistic training.
